Read each day's list carefully before you begin!  

Day 1:

  1. Algebra
  2. Read the summary of Gilgamesh in The Well Educated Mind on pages 353-355
  3. Rod and Staff Grammar 
  4. French
  5. Biology: ck-12 bio read section 1.1  Then make yourself a one note science notebook on your computer.  Figure out how to share with Mom.    Define the following vocabulary words:  dependent variable, independent variable, scientific theory, scientific law
  6. A Short History of the World: Ch. 1 : Prehistory “Beginnings”; “Evolution”; “Hominids” narrate
Day 2:

  1. Algebra
  2. Read Gilgamesh. It's only about 90 pages. Mull it over and narrate a plot summary.
  3. Rod and Staff Grammar
  4. French
  5. Bio.: 1.2 Answer questions 1-6 in one note.
  6. History of the English Speaking Peoples: Introduction. Narrate one good sentence per page.

Day 3:
  1. Algebra
  2. Watch Crash Course video 
  3. Grammar
  4. French
  5. Bio:  play around on our account at Beyond labs  You will be doing a lab next week.  woo hoo!
  6. Listen to “The Anglo-Saxons and their World” from the Modern Scholar lecture series The Anglo Saxon World (available at Audible)
Day 4:
  1. Algebra
  2. Narrate a good long paragraph on the topic, "Is Gilgamesh a hero?"
  3. Grammar
  4. French
  5. Bio: catch up
  6. A Short History of the World: “Human qualities” ;  “Homo erectus” narrate
Day 5:
  1. Algebra
  2. Read a poem in The Oxford book of Poetry--show it to mom if it's especially good.
  3. French--practice at ulat French
  4. History of the English Speaking Peoples: Editor's Note
  5. Catch up if you are behind. Don't forget to read the devotional book. Have you listened to the music every day? Have you looked at the art?
